Where to Find the Device SN and IMEI/Wi-Fi Password?

The most convenient way to add a device to your SIMO account is by scanning the device's QR code. However, there are times when you can't scan the QR code. The SIMO app provides an alternative solution, which is to enter the device serial number and IMEI/Wi-Fi password manually. Whether to enter the IMEI or Wi-Fi password depends on the device you have.

Use this article as a reference to locate the Device SN and IMEI/Wi-Fi password.

To locate the serial number and IMEI:

  1. From the device’s home screen, select Menu -> SIMO Service -> Show Web QR Code.
  2. The SIMO serial number and IMEI are shown next to the QR code.
Solis Edge

To locate the serial number and IMEI:

  1. From the device’s home screen, select Menu -> Device Information.
  2. The SIMO serial number is labeled as Device SN,
  3. The IMEI is labeled as IMEI1.
Solis Hero

To locate the serial number and Wi-Fi password:

  1. Find the sticker on the bottom of the device.
  2. The serial number is labeled as SN.
  3. The Wi-Fi password is labeled as PW.

To locate the serial number and IMEI:

  1. Find the device info printed on the top of the device.
  2. The serial number is labeled as SN.
  3. The Wi-Fi password is labeled as PW.
Solis Tag

To locate the serial number and Wi-Fi password:

  1. Find the device info printed on the bottom of the device.
  2. The serial number is labeled as SN.
  3. The Wi-Fi password is label as PW.

  2. The SIMO serial number and IMEI are shown next to the QR code.

  2. The serial number is labeled as SN.
  3. The Wi-Fi password is labeled as PW.

To locate the serial number and Wi-Fi password:

  1. Find the sticker on the bottom of the device.
  2. The serial number is labeled as SN.
  3. The Wi-Fi password is labeled as PW.
Solis HubOpen a browser and type 198.168.0.1 to access the admin portal. Log in with the default username and password printed on the bottom of the device. The serial number and IMEI are available on the homepage of the router’s admin portal.

To locate the serial number and IMEI:

  2. The SIMO serial number and IMEI are shown next to the QR code.

  1. Open the SIMO Windows app.
  2. Go to Device Information to find your SIMO SN and IMEI.
