Follow this guide to set up your Solis Go for the first time. You'll learn how to power on your device, link it to your SIMO account, buy a data plan, and connect to its Wi-Fi network so you can start using your data plan.
1. Charge
Two methods to charge:
- With built-in charging cable: Pull out the Type-A cable (cable marked "IN") and plug it into a 5V/2A adapter (adapter not included).
- With the provided charging cable: Connect the device's USB-C port to a 5V/2A adapter (adapter not included) with the included cable.
2. Power On
Press and hold the power button located on the front side of Solis Go for 3 seconds to turn on the hotspot.
3. Download the App
Scan the QR code below with your phone's camera to download the SIMO app.
4. Sign Up and Add Hotspot
Follow the app's instructions to create a SIMO account and add the device to your account.
5. Buy or Activate WiFi
Visit the Shop page on the web portal / App to buy a data plan. If you have a prepaid code, enter the code before checkout to redeem the prepaid service.
6. Connect to the Hotspot Wi-Fi
The hotspot's Wi-Fi name and password are printed on the front side of your hotspot. Connect to the hotspot Wi-Fi just like any other Wi-Fi network. You can also connect by scanning the QR code on the right.
