Step 1: Power on the tablet
Step 2: Welcome Notification
- After successful setup in the background, the user will receive a welcome push notification from SIMO and the SIMO app icon will also be displayed on the home screen.
- After SIMO tablet app is set up successfully, the app will run automatically every time the tablet is rebooted and will activate the SIMO Internet automatically if there is no WiFi connection and no SIM card inserted into the tablet.
- Note: For the setup to happen, the device must be first connected to WiFi. The setup may take about 10~15 seconds depends on the quality of the network connection.

Tap ‘Try SIMO’ to open the SIMO control panel as a push notification.

Tap Log In to log in or sign up in the SIMO portal at https://buy.simo.co. The SIMO portal is where you can manage your devices, purchase, and manage data plans.

Step 3: Connecting to SIMO

Tap on the toggle to start the connection process whenever you need SIMO. When there is no WiFi connection and no physical SIM card is inserted, SIMO will automatically connect the tablet to the Internet.

Because physical SIM card will not work after the vSIM is activated, whenever SIMO connection starts, we will show the following message to inform users that their physical SIM card will no longer work.
Step 4: Connected to SIMO

Once SIMO is connected, tap log in to log into the portal and choose a data plan based on your needs. If the user haven’t purchased a high-speed data plan within 15 minutes, SIMO will get disconnected. Note: During the 15 minute of whitelisting, the user can only have access to the SIMO portal.

Choose a data plan
- Enter personal information: first name, last name, email, password, and country

Complete checkout
- Click 'Done' shall log into the portal

- Once logged in and purchased a data plan, you will see the following message on the control panel. Check the data balance on the notification panel or in the SIMO portal.
Account

Tap Account to go to the SIMO portal homepage where the user can see device information and data plans.
Modify Device

If the user wants to view device details such as Device SN and Device Type, the user can tap the Device Image from the homepage to access the device settings page.
Modify Account

If the user wants to modify personal information or change password, tap profile icon on the top right corner to access the page below.
Buy More Data

Tap Buy More Data to go to Shop page with all available data plans.

Switch between SIMO and WiFi
- When WiFi is connected while using SIMO service, Android system will no longer access Internet using SIMO service and switching to WiFi connection instead. In this case, we will show the following notification

The toggle button in the SIMO control panel will be turned off:

When WiFi is connected, users can turn on the toggle button in SIMO control panel to use SIMO. Once switching to SIMO, the WiFi connection will be disconnected.

If users switch back from WiFi to SIMO within 5 minutes, SIMO will be connected immediately. Otherwise, they will see the connection progress of SIMO.
Close SIMO Control Panel
- Swipe left on the notification to close the notification panel. You will then see the confirmation message.
- Tap Confirm to close the notification. SIMO will also be turned off if connected. Tap Cancel to cancel the action. Select Don’t ask me again and tap Confirm, the confirmation will not be displayed again next time when you close the notification panel.
