The Solis Tag is a portable hotspot device that allows you to create a personal Wi-Fi network using SIMO’s virtual SIM (vSIM) technology. This guide will walk you through setting up your device, activating your data plan, and connecting your devices.

• Note: A 5V/1A power adapter is not included.

Step 1: Power On the Device

The Solis Tag is powered through USB.

To power on the device:

1. Connect the charging cable to the Solis Tag.

2. Plug the cable into:

   • A 5V/1A power adapter, or

   • A laptop USB port, or

   • A power bank.

3. The device will automatically power on once connected to power.

Step 2: Wait for Network Connection

After powering on, the device will begin searching for a cellular signal.

• This may take a few minutes, depending on your location.

• Once all three indicator lights turn solid white, the device is connected and ready to use.

Step 3: Download the SIMO App

You will need the SIMO App to manage your hotspot.

Steps:

1. Download the SIMO App from:

   • Apple App Store

   • Google Play Store

2. Open the app.

3. Create a SIMO account.

Step 4: Register Your Device

Once your account is created, add your Solis Tag device.

Steps:

1. Open the SIMO App.

2. On the Status page, tap Set Up New Device.

3. Follow the instructions to add your device.

You can register your device in two ways:

Option 1 – Scan QR Code (Recommended)
Scan the QR code printed on the device.

Option 2 – Manual Entry
Enter the Device Serial Number (SN) manually.

Step 5: Activate or Purchase a Data Plan

To access the internet, you need an active data plan.

Steps:

1. Go to the Shop page in the SIMO App or web portal.

2. Select and purchase a data plan.

If you received a prepaid code:

1. Enter the code during checkout.

2. The prepaid data plan will be activated on your device.

Step 6: Connect Your Devices to Wi-Fi

Once your device is activated, you can connect phones, tablets, and laptops.

Steps:

1. Find the Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password printed on the back of the device.

2. On your device:

   • Open Wi-Fi settings

   • Select the Solis Tag network

   • Enter the password.

You can also scan the Wi-Fi QR code on the device to connect instantly.
