Follow this guide to set up your Solis Tag for the first time. You'll learn how to power on your device, link it to your SIMO account, buy a data plan, and connect to its Wi-Fi network so you can start using your data plan.
1. Power On
Connect Solis Tag to a power source (e.g., laptop or power adapter) using the provided cable. Solis Tag will power on automatically and connect to the Internet.
2. Wait for Network Connection
It may take a few minutes to find a signal depending on your location. Once all three connectivity indicator lights turn solid white, the device is ready for use.
3. Download the App
Scan the QR code below with your phone's camera to download the SIMO app.
4. Sign Up and Add Hotspot
Follow the app's instructions to create a SIMO account and add the device to your account.
5. Buy or Activate WiFi
Visit the Shop page on the web portal / App to buy a data plan. If you have a prepaid code, enter the code before checkout to redeem the prepaid service.
6: Connect Your Devices to Wi-Fi
You can connect to Solis Tag's Wi-Fi using the Wi-Fi name and password printed on the back of the device, or by scanning the QR code on the right with your camera app.
