Shop Pay Installments allows eligible customers to split the cost of a purchase into smaller payments at checkout, making it easier to pay over time.

Payment plans are provided and managed by Affirm. Available payment options, eligibility, and financing terms are determined during checkout and may vary by customer.

Available Payment Options

Depending on your eligibility and purchase amount, you may be offered one or more of the following payment options:

• Pay in 4 – Four interest-free biweekly payments (where available).
• Monthly Installments – Monthly payments that may include interest, subject to approval.

The payment options displayed at checkout are determined by Affirm and cannot be selected or modified by SIMO.

If you choose four biweekly payments:

• No interest
• No hidden fees
• No late fees

Monthly Installments

Monthly payment plans may include interest.

• APR: 0%–36% (where applicable)
• Your interest rate, if any, is determined during the approval process.

Will Shop Pay Installments Affect My Credit Score?

Pay in 4

Selecting the Pay in 4 option generally does not affect your credit score.

Monthly Installments

Monthly installment plans may require a credit check.

Late or missed payments may impact your credit score. Approval decisions are made by Affirm.

To use Shop Pay Installments, customers must meet Shop Pay's eligibility requirements.

Eligible Order Amounts

Eligible orders must total between:

• $35–$30,000 USD (United States)
• $35–$30,000 CAD (Canada)
• £50–£30,000 GBP (United Kingdom)

Order totals include:

• Product price
• Discounts
• Shipping
• Taxes

Eligible Products

Shop Pay Installments can be used on most eligible products.

The following purchases are not eligible:

• Gift cards
• Subscription products

Accepted Payment Methods

Supported payment methods vary by country and payment plan.

Generally, Shop Pay Installments accepts eligible:

• Credit cards
• Debit cards

Please note:

• Capital One credit cards are not accepted.
• Chase credit cards are not accepted.
• Prepaid credit and debit cards are not accepted.
• Monthly installment plans require a debit card in supported regions.

Returns and Refunds

If you return an item purchased using Shop Pay Installments, your refund will first be applied toward your remaining installment balance.

If your refund exceeds the outstanding balance, the remaining amount will be returned to your original payment method.

For monthly installment plans, any interest already paid is generally not refundable because it represents the cost of financing.

Order Changes

Orders paid with Shop Pay Installments cannot be edited after checkout.

If additional items are added to an existing order, a separate invoice is generated for the additional balance. The new balance must be paid using another accepted payment method and cannot be added to the existing installment plan.

Why don't I see Shop Pay Installments at checkout?

Availability depends on several factors, including your purchase amount, location, payment method, and eligibility as determined by Affirm.

Can SIMO approve or decline my financing application?

No. All financing decisions are made by Affirm. SIMO does not have access to or influence over the approval process.

Can SIMO change my payment schedule?

No. Payment schedules and financing agreements are managed entirely by Affirm. Any changes must be requested directly through Shop Pay Installments Support.

Can I pay off my installment plan early?

Yes. Shop Pay Installments allows customers to make early or manual payments through the Shop app or by signing in to their Shop Pay account.
