Troubleshoot Solis Zero Connection Issues

Follow

If you're experiencing issues with your Solis Zero eSIM, the steps below can help you identify and resolve the most common problems.

Choose the issue that best matches your situation.

Solis Zero Is Not Connecting to a Mobile Network

If your device displays No Service, No Signal, or cannot connect to a mobile network, try the following:

1. Verify You're in a Covered Destination

Make sure you're currently located in a country or region included in your Solis Zero data plan.

2. Confirm Your Plan Has Activated

Your Solis Zero eSIM activates automatically the first time it connects to a supported mobile network in a covered destination.

3. Make Sure Your eSIM Is Enabled

Open your device's Cellular or Mobile Network settings and verify that your Solis Zero eSIM is turned on.

4. Select Solis Zero for Mobile Data

If your device has multiple SIMs installed, confirm that Solis Zero is selected as the active Mobile Data line.

5. Enable Mobile Data

Verify that Mobile Data is turned on.

6. Turn On Data Roaming

Many partner networks require Data Roaming to be enabled for the eSIM to connect successfully.

7. Confirm Your Phone Is Carrier Unlocked

Solis Zero requires a carrier-unlocked device.

If you're unsure, refer to the How to Check if Your Phone Is Carrier Unlocked article.

8. Verify Your APN Settings

Most devices configure the APN automatically.

If you need to enter it manually, use:

SettingValue
APNOrange
UsernameOrange
PasswordOrange

9. Restart Your Device

Restart your phone and allow a few minutes for it to reconnect to the network.

If your device still cannot connect, please contact SIMO Customer Support.

Solis Zero Connects, but I Can't Access the Internet

If your phone shows a cellular signal but websites or apps won't load:

1. Confirm Solis Zero Is Your Mobile Data Line

If your device supports multiple SIMs, verify that Solis Zero is selected for mobile data.

2. Verify Your APN Settings

If necessary, manually configure:

SettingValue
APNOrange
UsernameOrange
PasswordOrange

3. Toggle Mobile Data

Turn Mobile Data off, wait a few seconds, and turn it back on.

4. Restart Your Device

Restarting your phone refreshes the network connection and often resolves temporary connectivity issues.

If the issue persists, contact SIMO Customer Support.

My Connection Is Slow

Mobile data performance can vary depending on your location and the local cellular network.

Common factors that affect connection speed include:

  • Weak cellular coverage
  • Network congestion during busy periods
  • Distance from the nearest cellular tower
  • Buildings, mountains, or other physical obstacles
  • Local carrier network performance
  • Device capabilities and software version
  • Background applications using data

Tips to Improve Connection Speed

If your connection is slower than expected, try the following:

  • Move to an area with stronger cellular coverage, such as outdoors or near a window.
  • Wait a few minutes and try again if the local network is congested.
  • Restart your phone.
  • If your device supports it, switch between Automatic, 4G/LTE, or another available network mode.
  • Close applications that may be using data in the background.
  • Install the latest software updates available for your device.
