Follow this guide to set up your Acer Connect M6E for the first time. You'll learn how to power on your device, link it to your SIMO account, buy a data plan, and connect to its Wi-Fi network so you can start using your data plan.
1. Power On
Power on the Acer Connect Enduro M6E and choose SIMO when asked to select the SIM type in the setup wizard.
2. Wait for the Hotspot to Find a Signal
The carrier’s name will appear in the upper left corner once a signal has been found.
3. Download the App
Scan the QR code below with your phone's camera to download the SIMO app.
4. Sign Up and Add Hotspot
Follow the app's instructions to create a SIMO account and add the device to your account.
5. Buy or Activate WiFi
Visit the Shop page on the web portal / App to buy a data plan. If you have a prepaid code, enter the code before checkout to redeem the prepaid service.
6. Connect to the Hotspot Wi-Fi
The hotspot’s Wi-Fi name and password can be found by tapping the Wi-Fi button on the hotspot’s home screen. Connect to the hotspot Wi-Fi just like any other Wi-Fi network.
