Shop Pay Installments lets eligible customers split the cost of their purchase into smaller payments at checkout, making it easier to pay over time.

What is Shop Pay Installments?

Shop Pay Installments is a payment option offered during checkout for eligible purchases. Depending on your order and eligibility, you may be able to choose between:

  • 4 interest-free biweekly payments
  • Monthly installment payments (subject to approval and interest charges)

Payment options are provided by Shop Pay’s financing partner and are subject to eligibility requirements.

Are There Any Additional Costs?

Pay in 4 (Biweekly Payments)

If you choose to split your purchase into four biweekly payments, there are:

  • No interest
  • No additional fees
  • No late fees
Monthly Installments

If you choose a monthly payment plan, interest rates may apply.

  • Annual Percentage Rate (APR): 10%–30%
  • The applicable APR is determined during the approval process.

Will Shop Pay Installments Affect My Credit Score?

Pay in 4

Choosing four biweekly payments does not affect your credit score.

Monthly Installments

Monthly installment plans may involve a credit check.

Missing or making late payments on a monthly installment plan may affect your credit score.

Which Orders Are Eligible?

Shop Pay Installments is available for eligible orders totaling between:

  • $50 USD
  • $17,500 USD

This total includes:

  • Product price
  • Discounts
  • Shipping
  • Taxes

Availability may vary based on your location and eligibility.

Can I Purchase Gift Cards Using Shop Pay Installments?

No.

Gift cards cannot be purchased using Shop Pay Installments.

Which Payment Methods Are Accepted?

Shop Pay Installments supports purchases made using:

  • Eligible credit cards
  • Eligible debit cards

Please note:

  • Capital One credit cards are not accepted.
  • Customers selecting monthly installment plans can only make payments using a debit card.

What Happens If I Return an Item?

If you return an item purchased with Shop Pay Installments, your refund will be applied to your installment balance.

If your refund is less than your remaining balance:

You may receive:

  • Lower future payments, or
  • A reduced final payment amount
If your refund is greater than your remaining balance:

Any remaining refund will be returned to your original payment method.

Note: If you selected a monthly payment plan, any interest already paid is not refundable, as it represents the cost of financing.

What Happens If I Add Items to an Existing Order?

If additional items are added to an order that was originally paid using Shop Pay Installments:

  • A separate invoice will be issued for the additional balance.
  • The outstanding balance must be paid using another accepted payment method.
  • Additional purchases cannot be added to the existing installment plan.

Availability depends on several factors, including:

  • Your order total
  • Your location
  • Eligibility determined by Shop Pay
  • The payment method you’re using

Can SIMO approve or decline my financing application?

No.

All financing decisions are made by Shop Pay and its financing partner. SIMO does not have access to or control over the approval process.

Can SIMO change my payment schedule?

No.

Your installment plan, payment schedule, and financing agreement are managed entirely by Shop Pay. Any changes must be requested directly through Shop Pay Support.
